2019 is set to be a year packed full of events, weddings, celebrations and parties and we’re hoping that we have something for everyone.
Our year kicks off with our fabulous wedding exhibition held in conjunction with Darlington Weddings. This gives brides and grooms the opportunity to meet suppliers face to face and get the inspiration from the experts. February sees the castle play host to our wine tasting masterclass which is held in conjunction with Louis Latour Wine Agency and Bon Coeur Fine Wines. Not forgetting our Valentines dinner and where better to celebrate than a castle?
Our ever-popular murder mystery themed evenings take place throughout the year – are you the detective set to solve the crime? March and April bring not only Mother’s Day, our Easter events and our spring medieval night but the promise of warmer weather and the reopening of Walworth Castle Birds of Prey Centre, located within our grounds. You can even stroll taking in the nature trail and end your day with a sumptuous afternoon tea in our beautiful lounge!
May arrives with our gin masterclass and follows with our family fun day in aid of The Great North Air Ambulance and Heighington BP Scouts. This year’s event promises to be bigger and better. Come along with the whole family for a great day out!
We’ve even thought about the Dad’s with our Father’s Day lunch and annual Car Show in June and July respectively. This year’s car show is held in conjunction with Wax Worx.
