If you book your wedding at Walworth Castle, you also have the option to book the castle as an exclusive wedding venue with no other guests at the hotel other than your wedding party.

Walworth Castle is one of the most popular civil partnership venues in the North East. We have a licence to get married in our beautiful Ballroom, or outdoors in our ceremony garden, Lady Palmers Pavilion.
Perfect for summer weddings the recently installed Lady Palmers Pavillion is the ideal setting for an outdoor wedding. The surrounding natural foliage allows for a stunning backdrop for your big day. If by chance the weather isn’t favourable, we can move your party inside to the 16th-century Ballroom.
If you have got married abroad or want to have a wedding celebration without the formality, you could book a twilight wedding celebration at Walworth Castle.
For those of you who are looking for something a little bit different, our intimate dungeon has the setting to really wow your wedding guests.
Who wouldn’t want the private use of a 12-century castle for their wedding party? Well at Walworth Castle you can book the entire castle and grounds for the exclusive use of your wedding. Your guests are only invited by personal invitation, making the hotel and the grounds your home for the wedding.
