Room 28 is a Superior Double with a striking freestanding bath set within the large bay window, surrounded by views into the trees outside.
Rich dark green walls and natural wood give the room a warm, characterful feel. The double bed faces a large TV, positioned so it can be enjoyed from either the bed or the bath. There’s also a dressing table and chair, along with tea and coffee-making facilities.
The bay window looks directly into the trees outside, giving you the feeling of being tucked amongst the tree canopy. The separate bathroom has a walk-in shower, toilet and sink.
Room 28 is on the first floor, along the east side of the Castle above the Castle Tavern. There is no lift, with 28 stairs to reach this floor.
For families, Room 28 has an adjoining door to Room 27, a Cosy Double with its own bathroom. When booked together, the two rooms can accommodate up to four guests, with two guests in each room.
